BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or “Beyond the Scene”, is a South Korean boyband that has been capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally since their debut in June 2013. The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Gaining recognition from their authentic, self-produced music and top-notch performances to the way they interact with their fans, the band has established themselves as global superstars breaking countless world records.
The septet made their debut on June 13,2013 with their debut album “2 Cool 4 Skool” and lead single and music video “No More Dream”. Since their debut, they have set countless records. In March of 2020, their album “Map of The Soul: 7” became the second best-selling album of all time.

What is HYYH?
HYYH is a BTS concept which stands for “Hwa Yong Yeon Hwa” (화양연화). It means the most beautiful or moment of one's life.
BTS Music Videos have followed a fictional storyline which was heavily focused on in the HYYH era (which began in 2015 with the I need u music video).

Two of the most popular forms
of videos bts have put out for their fans are:
1. Bangtan Bombs (short 2-15 minute ranging clips that showcase the members’ fun sides and personalities and extra behind the scenes footage from their appearances).
2. Bangtan Episodes (these are typically longer than bangtan bombs and highlight more important events and special appearances such as their debut day, Grammys appearance, UN speech, etc.)

Newer videos (post-Jan' 20) have english subs older content does not, but channels such as BangtanSubs have provided accurate translations!
VLIVE
BTS has a channel on VLive where they have live shows (such as EatJin). A couple of hours after live shows end they are updated with translations!

BTS are currently part of their own Variety Show called 'RUN BTS!'.
